Feb Karaoke meet is at Makarand's place on 26th.

नमस्कार मंडळी!

The 4th Saturday of the month is almost here, and that means that it is time for us to start planning the February meet of the A2MM Karaoke Club! There are several new names on the mailing list this time, and so just as a quick introduction, we have a theme for the songs for each meet, and the host family gets to select their theme. Perhaps this is not such a good idea after all, because as the February hosts, the theme that we are suggesting is "Songs of the Opposite Gender" Of course this is just a suggestion and since we have just had Valentine's Day, you are welcome to sing love songs (sung by singers of your own gender) instead, or anything else you fancy. 

For the men, this theme is your opportunity to try to sing Lata's songs composed by Madan Mohan, S.D. Burman; Asha's songs by RD, folk songs, and more -- take comfort that the esteemed composers aren't around anymore to witness their songs being taken to a whole different पातळी  Likewise, for the women here's your opportunity to try songs by Sonu Nigam and other perennial favorites. 

It'll be a lot of fun -- please join us!
