Sharad was an Electrical Engineer who graduated in 1960 from Pune Engineering College. After a long engineering career, he went on to become a successful entrepreneur. Sharad was a good friend to anyone who had the opportunity to know him closely. His jovial nature and his availability to help anyone in need will be missed by all. Sharad was also an expert bridge player who had won several local tournaments.
Originally hailing from Thane, India, Sharad had also lived in Philadelphia and in Florida for a few years.
Survivors include his wife, Dr. Shobha Joshi, and their sons Harshad & Ashutosh along with their families.
